Artist Signed Hand Painted Miniature Ducks
This charming duo of small duck decoys were hand painted and signed by the artists. The mallard drake is 5 inches long and 2 1/2 inches tall to the top of his head. He weighs 6 ounces and is signed on the bottom "Mallard Drake by W. Hemric 9-12-85." The redhead drake with his head turned to his right measures just under 5 inches long, 2 1/4 inches tall and weighs 4 ounces. He's signed on the bottom "Redhead Drake by M. Gainey 9-10-85."
We've pictured each duck individually along with a photo showing the signature on the underside. These ducks are a molded composite of wood sawdust and resin with lifelike details and inset eyes, the handsome hand painting adding such realism. They are in excellent condition, with minimal paint loss and no cracks or chips. The bottoms of both are felted. They look great together, displayed alone or tucked in with larger decoys.
