This large antique baking mold is designed to make a wedding cake layer or base. It’s made of copper over tin, which we have left as found to preserve the patina. It measures 14 ½ inches across and 2 ¼ inches high and has a brass ring at the top for hanging. It weighs a substantial 2 pounds 3 ounces. The face is in good condition; there is wear on the sides consistent with heavy use.
This mold is an unusual size and form and makes a terrific display piece alone or in a grouping of copper pans and molds.
