This trio of carved wooden birds includes an owl, a female cardinal and a golden eagle. Each is beautifully hand painted and is perched on a section of a natural tree branch, complete with bark. They make a handsome display for the bird lover and nature enthusiast.
Weighing 4 to 5 ounces, each bird is a bit different in size, but definitely in proportion to the others and they look great as a grouping. Following is a description of each bird:
>>>The winsome owl was done in shades of peach and brown with black outlining on the feathers. Standing on striped toes with curved metal talons, its height is about 5 3/8 inches and the base is 2 1/4 by 1 3/4 inches.
>>>The female cardinal is done in vibrant shades of orange and red, with accents of black and brown. From the tip of her beak to the tip of her tail feathers she measures 7 inches long, She's 4 1/2 inches tall to the top of her head, including the base, which she's gripping with her long toes as she peers over her shoulder. The base measures about 4 by 1 1/2 inches.
>>>The regal golden eagle is the tallest at 5 5/8 inches and was painted in shades of grey, brown and black. He's gripping the base which measures about 4 1/4 by 1 1/4 inches, and is balancing on his long tail feathers.
All three of the birds are in excellent condition, with no breaks, chips or missing pieces. Flocking together or standing separately, they are charming.
