This charming bud vase was made in Oregrund, Uppsala County, Sweden in 1987 by Ingeborg Pettersson. The milk white glass body has a narrow round neck and a flared, flattened shape that tapers to an oval base. The pale lavender enamel shades to a deeper tint toward the bottom for a beguiling ombré effect. The sole decoration are two white leaves rising up the front left side (which look shaded in the photos but are totally pure white in person).
This bud vase is 7 inches tall, a bit over 5 inches across at the widest point and 2 inches front to back. It's signed in black on the bottom in script "Ingeborg Pettersson 1987." Both the glass and the enameling are in like new condition. It will hold water for a few sprigs of flowers and also looks lovely on its own, unadorned.
P.S. When we purchased this vase, it was accompanied by an old address label for Ingeborg Pettersson, which we'll include with the vase when we ship it.
