This limited edition print is entitled “The Wreath Makers.” The original painting was done by Barbara Bourgeau-Richards, a self-taught folk artist of French descent and a native of Michigan who began painting in 1986. She specializes in watercolor vignettes, many of which are in private and corporate collections and museums. Ms. Bourgeau-Richards has also authored craft pamphlets and a book, “The First Five Years! An Intimate Reflection.” She’s known to her fans as BB Richards, which is how she pencil-signed this print lower right, along with 268/1000. The original was signed by her as copyright Bourgeau Richards 1989.
On the back of the print is a label that reads: Print #2042 THE WREATH MAKERS Barbara catches that special moment as the wreath makers select the perfect stems to unite into an intertwined masterpiece. Limited Edition Print by Barbara Bourgeau-Richards CWC Art Inc.
