This pot or olla was decorated with a complex painting of women carrying baskets and strings of fish. The details are wonderful and include buildings, birds and the sun, among others. The piece was signed near the bottom "Mercar Pescado" {the fish market} and Angelica M. Gamez 2-MAR 1988.
